Following a disappointing loss to the Nashville Predators the Sharks are looking to redeem themselves and win a second time this month against the Knights. The Sharks at 2nd place will be knocked out of chance to be 1st in pacific if the Knights just lose in OT.

Today the Sharks play the Nashville Predators in Tennessee. The Nashville Predators are currently the best team in the NHL right now and 109 points! The Sharks are looking to bounce back after a overtime lost to the St. Louis Blues. The sharks are in 2nd place in the division and looking all clear for a decent 2nd round playoff contenders

Today at 5:30 PST the San Jose sharks are facing off against the Chicago Blackhawks in Chicago. The Sharks are looking to keep up a 7 game winstreak after a 5-1 victory over the Calgary Flames. The Sharks are 2nd place in the Pacific division 43 - 23 - 9. The Blackhawks the lowest in the Central Divison are 31 - 36 - 9. The Sharks are currently 6 behind ahead of Vegas and 4 points ahead of the Anaheim Ducks. Unfortunately the Sharks likely will not take Vegas's spot in the playoffs due to the OT win against them.

Hey everyone! I'll be attending this game tonight at SAP Center, so I'll try to get some pictures. Anyway, Sharks are trying to take their games further after an awesome victory over the Golden Knights on Thursday. Now, the Sharks are trying to combat the Calgary Flames once more. Remember in the last game, Evander Kane made his first NHL Hat Trick and then some with his 4-Goal Game! At the time of this post, neither goalie has been confirmed for the game. It's likely though to be Martin Jones for the Sharks and Mike Smith for the Flames.

Tonight at 7 pm PST the Sharks are playing the Golden Knights in San Jose, The Sharks 91 points are looking to get close to the first place Knights 99 points. The sharks have won 5 in a row currently 2nd best in the NHL! The Game will be a fun one to watch maybe even a fight or two as they are now division rivals getting close to the playoffs. Meanwhile the Ducks are 3 points behind San Jose at 88. Tomorrow the Ducks will battle Winnipeg so lets go Jets.

Finn's Pick-Who should join the Sharks Roster in the 2018-19 Season.

  This is Finn the shark. He is the blog's new mascot, and in this post he will guess who will join San Jose next season. Well, Finn, what do you think?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Finn: I think Matt Hackett of the San Diego Gulls. He's skilled enough to go NHL again by 2018-2019. The only thing even close to a problem with the Sharks is that they might need slightly stronger defense. It is more of a skater defense issue than goalie issue, but getting a goalie that is stronger than Dell is almost as good as enhancing the defenders.

  I see. Any other reasons?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Finn: Not really, but it seems likely that the OHL all-star will sooner or later slap on teal.

The sharks defeated the Oilers 4-3 in OT we got the OT part correct and that Logan Couture would get a goal however we didn't get the correct Goal guess

Sharks VS Red Wings-Goal Guess

We would like to take this time to thank Dinojay for joining the Sharks Goal Guessing team! You'll see more of him as the hockey season concludes and the new one begins. Dinojay will become an even bigger part of the team, as we approach a new phase. We have large plans for the future, but we can't share them until next season. Anyway, Dinojay did the post for Saturday's game, and he'll be doing the alternates for my games.

Sharks are trying to regain their glory, after being shut out by the Washington Capitals on Saturday. The Sharks took a 2-0 loss, and are just barley maintaining their second place in the Pacific Division, by one point over the Anaheim Ducks (81-80). This game will mark the finale of a Six-Game homestand in San Jose. Surprisingly, even though it seems like Evander Kane (#9) has been with the Sharks for a while, he hasn't played one away game for them yet. On the other hand, Fehr has played away from SAP Center while on the team.

Martin Jones is marking his eighth start for San Jose, which for the past five games, his record at 3-2-0. Martin in the current season however, is holding at 22-18-6 with a high .918 SV% which is actually not that bad. Starting in goal for the Red Wings is Jimmy Howard, who in the past five games has a 0-4-1 record which means that: In the past fives games, Howard hasn't won a single game. Not a darn one.

Timo Meier will score first for the Sharks, which will lead to a 1-1 tie created by Detroit, possibly by Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader. The Sharks will score second by Joe Pavelski, and the final score will hold at 2-1, a Sharks victory.

*If you have noticed, through our entire time of posting, we have never had a goal guess where the Sharks loose. We noticed that, but highly believe the Sharks will win this game.

The Sharks lost to the Capitals today 2-0, we correctly predicted the score but for the wrong team, the Capitals improve to 38-23-7 and the Sharks remain in second place at 36-23-9

Game on! Sharks are trying to take the win over the St. Louis Blues, after a tragic defeat on March 4th to the previously defeated Columbus Blue Jackets. It will be tricky though as Sharks are still left without Joe Thornton, Joe Ward, and Melker Karlsson. However, the new signing of Kane (#9) seems to be doing okay, and he might be able to make a goal tonight. Martin Jones is the starting goalie tonight, but hopefully he can up his game after he was pulled out in favor of Aaron Dell after Jones gave up a third goal last game.

St. Louis will make the first goal, however the Sharks will tie it up with a shot by Kevin Labanc.

The final score will be 4-2, a Shark victory over the Blues, possibly with a final open net goal.
